Here's a little more about their backgrounds and just what make them tick...

Chris Fulton-Danks

Chris is an FCA authorised Independent Financial Adviser with over 10 years' experience and has been fortunate enough to work with, and learn from some of the most influential and experienced advisers in the industry. His father, Alan has been his greatest mentor and Chris says regularly how lucky he is to learn every day from an adviser with such a vast level of experience, knowledge, and client care. Chris states:

"I feel a great sense of responsibility to provide continuity to our clients. Alan has worked tirelessly to help our clients achieve financial success and reliability over decades and it's important to me that this legacy continues into the future."

Chris is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments (CISI) and has a 2:1 degree in Business Studies & Communications from the University of Liverpool. Chris has a genuine passion for helping clients understand sustainable investing and how they can make a positive impact with their investment decisions. This passion comes from his love of the outdoors and his aim to preserve it for future generations everywhere.

Chris tries to bring positivity to each day and is all energy, running first thing every morning with his dog, Chief. Chris’ priorities in life are his family, his friends, his work and his fitness. Chris is a London Marathon and Ultra Marathon finisher and believes the discipline required to compete and complete these types of events helps him every day as a financial adviser. Chris is unashamedly a huge country music fan and loves to travel with his wife, Rebecca.

Alan Danks

Alan is an FCA authorised Independent Financial Adviser and has been successfully working in retail financial services advising clients for more than 37 years now. Alan has built up a broad and varied client base covering most areas of financial advice and many of Alan`s clients are now lifelong friends who have benefited from this reliability and advice over many years.

Whilst Alan continues to work with our clients and intends to remain within the practice, he is keen the Burlington Financial Solutions keeps up to date and transitions to younger leadership in the coming years. Alan also wants to take a few more days off and enjoy some well earned time away from the practice to follow his other interests outside retail financial services.

Sonya Foreman

Sonya is our head of Paraplanning and suitability reports. Sonya has worked in financial services for nearly 40 years and her roles have been varied starting as office junior, moving through administration and now a paraplanner. This huge level of experience is important for her role when assisting in the financial planning research for our clients.

Sonya matches her experience with qualifications and is Level 4 diploma (DipPFS) qualified and also has the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC) G60 Pensions. Pensions are Sonya's expertise and is a specialist in this area.

Sonya is very family and friends orientated with two adult children and a dog to keep her busy outside of work. When Sonya is away from her desk she enjoys spending her time knitting, reading, walking (both with and without the dog) and has just started taking an interest in photography.

Jo Caddick

Jo is a level 4 diploma qualified paraplanner and is extremely knowledgeable with over 30 years' experience in the financial services industry.

There isn't much Joanne hasn’t come across in her years in the industry and this experience is invaluable in her role at Burlington Financial Solutions where she heads up the technical research and analysis. Joanne has an incredible eye for detail and her work is thorough. Coupled with her positive attitude to always want to help and achieve success for our clients makes her invaluable. Joanne is the newest member of the team but feels like part of the furniture now.

Joanne, Jo or 'Smoking Jo' as Chris calls her because she's always full positive energy, the right attitude and the person to go to for a good laugh. In Joanne's own words her priority in life is spending time with my family and friends. Joanne loves to travel and has had the good fortune of visiting some wonderful places. Joanne's favourite place is Keswick in the Lake District, where she goes year in, year out as she loves nothing more than putting on a pair of walking boots and exploring the beautiful landscape. Better to get rained on there than at home!

Another of her passions is music and loves going to concerts from classical to rock with her claim to fame being a chance meeting with Mick Hucknall backstage at a Simply Red concert.

Oliver Pheysey

Oliver is our Head of Administration and Operations at Burlington Financial Solutions and has been in the industry for over 6 years however, he started revising for his compliance exams before this when working in a completely different industry.

This fantastic attitude to go the extra mile is why we wanted to work with Oliver and he continues to apply that same enthusiasm into his work today for the benefit of our clients. He is a true asset to our team and look forward to supporting him on his journey to completing his level 4 Diploma in regulated financial planning.

Oliver or 'Ol' as we know him is a fair weather Aston Villa fan and a serious food enthusiast (he's a handy cook as well!). Oliver lives with his girlfriend Sarah and their dog, Pogo and at the weekends you can find them trying a variety of cuisines and cultures in restaurants and cafes. Oliver is a family man and spending time with them and his friends is important to him. Oliver is a big fan of his music and going to concerts. None of the team ever know who these bands are but he seems to enjoy it!
